Interviewmatch.it is a technique of interviewing people exclusively through a sequence of images, a visual game of 'dominoes' in which the curators and interviewees - artists, architects, thinkers, etc. - play on equal ground, creating an uninterrupted sequence of visions reminiscent of the Surrealist pastime 'exquisite corpse'. In an all-visual civilization made of pop-ups and simultaneous visions, the linear sequence of this editorial project adds rigour to free association, creating an alternate-frame film with surprising results, which can be read in abstract form, almost like a collective work of art, or like a litmus test which, at variable speed, reveals the personalities of the two subjects involved and the unexpected resonance between them. At times complicity, at times confrontation, like the algorithm that governs the network, the images of Interview Match give shape to a brand new landscape made of biographies, projects, reports, deeds, misdeeds, truth, lies and rumours. A real 'virtual boxing-ring' where the restless thoughts of the greatest minds of our time meet head-on.

This visual interview with Cino Zucchi - renowned Italian architect and curator of the Italian Pavilion of the upcoming '14th International Architecture Exhibition', to be held in Venice in June - represents a visual dialogue between his architectural creativity and the free thinking that brings us together. Images have a much greater power of expression than words - even those of a poetic or intellectual nature - and can be understood and interpreted by different minds through the game of free association.
